TV shows highlights for February 2018

Altered Carbon (2/2/2018)

Now, a soldier from the past has been brought back hundreds of years after being held in digital prison to help solve the attempted murder of a wealthy man.

Seven Seconds (23/2/2018)

A new thriller series from the makers of The Killing, Seven Seconds examines the tensions between African American citizens and white cops when a young black male is run over and left to die by an off-duty police officer. How long can they bury the truth?

Everything Sucks! (16/2/2018)

Hey remember the '90s? That's basically the premise of this nostalgia-centric series which examines American high school life in 1996. Will it amount to more than nostalgia-bait? With any luck, we might have a new Freaks and Geeks on our hands...

Coach Snoop: Season 1 (2/2/2018)

Snoop Dogg stars in this excellent-looking series about the youth football league created by the entertainer to prevent kids from ending up in a life of crime.

A brand-new Fab 5 has been enlisted to make America fabulous again ... heading into the more regional parts of the country to give clueless men a sense of style and confidence.

Movies highlights for February 2018

Mute (23/2/2018)

A mute bartender (Alexander Skarsgård) with a violent past is forced to take on the teeming underworld of gangsters in a futuristic Berlin as he searches for his missing girlfriend. To do this, he'll enlist the help of two wise-cracking surgeons (Paul Rudd and Justin Theroux) who'll do the talking for him.

When We First Met (9/2/2018)

A “nice guy” (Adam Devine) misses his chance with a beautiful girl (Alexandra Daddario), only for her end up marrying some other dude (Robbie Amell) years later. Realising that he can travel back in time to the day he met her through an old photo booth they momentarily shared, the guy, who's like totally not a stalker or anything, attempts to woo her over and over again with apparently hilarious results. Pretty creepy for a comedy, but hey – it’s Daddario we’re talking about here.

John Wick: Chapter 2 (16/2/2018)

First, they killed his dog. Now, they've killed his house (while attempting to kill him). Just when he thought he was out... they pull him back in! Now, it's twice-retired hitman John Wick who's on the run, with every other assassin in town is out to take him down. Expect even more head shots than before.

Nightcrawler (1/2/2018)

Louis Bloom (Jake Gyllenhaal) enters the seedy world of late night crime journalism, which basically consists of recording bloody carnage in the streets of Los Angeles to sell to fear-mongering news outlets. But what happens when he starts orchestrating the chaos himself to get the best exclusives?

Netflix has a big February planned for 2018, with a number of high-profile shows and movies confirmed for release. Here are some trailers for our most anticipated March Netflix releases.

Jessica Jones: Season 2 (8/3/2018)

She took down Kilgrave and fought alongside The Defenders, but what's next for the Marvel Universe's most badass private detective? The date announcement trailer below doesn't give much away, but we're definitely excited for Jessica Jones' return!

GAME OVER, MAN! (23/3/2018)
