India will take on Sri Lanka in the first T20 International match tonight in the ongoing Sri Lanka tour. India is high on confidence after winning the ODI series 2-1 while Sri Lanka will take their last match win as a big plus and try to continue the form in the T20 series as well. 

The final match in the ODI series saw India use five new players who all made their debut. The hosts won the match by 3 wickets, but India won the series by a 2-1 margin.

For the T20 series opener, we'd expect the Indian team to go back to their second ODI squad which also means T20 specialists like Deepak Chahar, Bhuvneshwar Kumar,  Ishan Kishan might come back to the playing 11 and we might also see Devdutt Padikkal or Ruturaj Gaikwad make their debut, if not in the first match, at least some time in the three-match series.
